크레이지 슬롯 Chemical’s PP products were rated Class A, meaning the best flame retardant performance, in ‘ASTM E84’, a flame retardancy rating certification test for indoor finishing materials for buildings in North America and the Middle East.

The PP product that received the A grade this time is a newly developed halogen-free (non-toxic) flame retardant material that is not harmful to the human body compared to general flame retardant plastics and is recyclable, so it has the advantage of being eco-friendly.

크레이지 슬롯 Chemical’s halogen-free flame retardant PP products are scheduled to be first used as interior finishing materials for buildings in the Middle East in 2024, and are expected to be expanded to other uses such as automobiles and home appliances that required flame retardant properties in the future.

‘ASTM E84’ is a test for the combustion characteristics of building materials and is evaluated for use as interior finishing materials for buildings in the United States, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. It measures the flame propagation index and smoke generation index and classifies three classes A, B, and C according to the results.

As a result of testing of 크레이지 슬롯 Chemical’s flame retardant PP products, it received a stable grade equivalent to a Class A grade with a flame spread index of 10 and a smoke generation index of 60. This result means that, compared to general plastic product, when a fire occurs, the spread of the flame is suppressed and harmful gases are generated to a minimum.
