슬롯 나라 Chemical has won an award at the 2025 iF Design Awards (International Forum Design), one of the world’s top three design awards.
Founded in 1954 in Germany, the iF Design Award, along with Red Dot (Germany) and IDEA (USA), is recognized as one of the most influential industrial design awards in the industry. 슬롯 나라 Chemical was honored with an award in the Professional Concept category, one of the nine categories in the 2025 competition.
The award-winning design, titled “Natural Way,” is a design solution that enhances color, pattern, and texture to replicate the feel of natural materials such as fabric and leather using Lotte Chemical’s specialty plastic materials.
Additionally, this solution incorporates recycled polycarbonate (PC) into eco-friendly PC/ASA materials, combining recycled particles to achieve a natural texture effect, thus promoting sustainable value. Beyond mobility interiors, this solution is applicable across various industries requiring distinguished designs and eco-friendly materials, including home appliances, TVs, and IT products.
Hwang Min-jae, Head of Lotte Chemical’s Advanced Materials Business, stated, “Lotte Chemical leads the evolving market with its distinguished technology,” adding, “We will continue to expand growth centered on high-value specialty products.”
